Just add water! 

Put the egg in a container with enough water to cover it. The egg will slowly hatch after 12-24 hours and your butterfly will emerge. Add fresh water and your butterfly will continue to expand over the next 24-48 hours. After 48 hours you can move your butterfly to a larger container. Watch it grow daily!
